Easy New Year’s Word Seach
When the holidays roll around, I always look for quick and easy printables for Mom. And nothing can beat a holiday-themed word search that she can do independently!
That’s exactly what this New Year’s Word Search is all about! Created with seniors in mind this activity is minimal effort for you (just print) and maximum fun for your person with dementia (easy to find words with giant print).
These made-for-seniors word searches are created with all the words running in a readable direction making every word easy to find. There’s left to right, top to bottom, and a few diagonal top-left to bottom-right. Taking out backward words made my mom’s success level go way up!
The word search is also available in 2 difficulty levels – easy and really easy. I did this so a larger population of our people could find success. So pick the one that works best for your person.
The word list is on a separate page which allows plenty of room for large print on the puzzle AND the word list! And there’s a full-size answer key as well! (you’re welcome)
All of these little modifications add up to a puzzle activity that sets our people up for success!
